Hey everyone!

I am glad you found my blog! Over the next few months, as I prepare to go to the World Race, I will post updates on fundraising and what Jesus has been teaching me! Once on the Race, I will be sharing how the ministry is going and what life on the mission field is like. Throughout the last couple of years, Jesus has been working on my heart and allowing me to figure out my purpose. I’m so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me after graduation.

Spending a few years on the mission field in Costa Rica with my family truly helped shaped who I am as a person and follower of Christ. I’ve always known I was being called to missionary work in some aspect, but I wasn’t entirely sure when, where, or how. I often felt an ache for a greater calling of discipleship, much bigger than me, myself, and I. I am confident that this is the next chapter God has planned for me.

With many doubts in what I truly wanted to do with my life, I felt defeated. It seemed as if everyone else around me had the next 15 years of their life planned. I originally wanted to take a gap year after high school, get an old Volkswagen van, and just explore the United States. Trying to convince myself and others that this was the plan for me to try and figure out my life, forced me to believe that I could have it all figured out on my own. But oh boy! I was so wrong. I’ve always had the most supportive and loving parents that I could have ever asked for. Over the last couple of years, my dad would constantly introduce me to smaller Christian colleges and different organizations that he had been researching, just to put ideas into my mind. Eventually he brought up The World Race. I was exhausted from searching and trying to find meaning, but this organization truly peaked my interest and I began to realize the opportunity that this path could bring for me. I was really interested in the gap year program, where I would travel to several countries with a group of people my age who love Jesus. This excited me, realizing I could connect with others who have similar mindsets and passions. God gave me the courage to put in an application and prepare for an interview. Though there was a fear of being rejected, an overwhelming sense of excitement, joy, and contentment came over me.

I started praying intentionally about this opportunity for ministry over the summer of 2024, and started to doubt if this thirst for more was actually from God. I kept seeing Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” I knew I wanted to share the love of Jesus, to people all over the world who might not have the opportunity to hear about it.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

As I step out in obedience in this new journey that God is taking me on, I would very much appreciate your support and prayers! If you would like to donate, my fundraising link is:
