Hey everyone! It’s felt like forever since I posted my first blog, but I will be keeping more up to date with this new season in my life!
These past few months have been eventful, yet exciting. I graduated high school and have been working full time to raise money. I found out recently that my original route was canceled and I’ve been placed on a new path. I am now headed to Columbia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and South Africa! I truly believe that this redirection is guided by His plan, and I’m stepping into it with full trust. I have been spreading the word about my mission to many people through letters and in person. I have already received so much support and prayer! And am now at 68% of my fundraising goal ($13,377 out of $19,500.) Praise the Lord! I am incredibly grateful for my family, friends, church, and community! Your support and prayers mean the world to me.
Lately, God has been teaching me a lot about patience—something that doesn’t always come naturally to me. I’m learning to be more patient with others and with myself. I’ve also been pushing myself to be bold in reaching out and sharing about my trip, even when it feels uncomfortable. As someone who’s naturally introverted, talking to people about the ministry and asking to meet up isn’t easy for me. But I’m stepping out in faith and trusting that God will give me the courage I need. A verse I have been meditating on recently to help me through this is Romans 12:12 “Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, be persistent in prayer.”
Thank you again for being such a big part of this journey!
